This small vacuum cleaner is approximately 10x8x5 inches (25x20x13 cm) in size and light enough to be easily handled with only one hand.
This is very powerful handheld vacuum cleaner – when you switch it on, you will feel torque from motor starting. This vacuum cleaner sucks plenty of air and creates strong suction for cleaning the dirt – problem can be exhaust air that sometimes can interfere with the cleaning surface and blow away the dirt. However, this can be easily avoided with careful handling of the vacuum cleaner.
During operation, vacuum draws 4 Amps, making it much stronger than similar sized cordless vacuums.
Such strong engine makes relatively plenty of noise, but I guess it is the price for having such a strong engine (which is good, of course) in such a small vacuum cleaner.
Cordless vacuum cleaners that produce such a strong suction force are much more expensive with limited time of operation.
Power cord is 16 feet (5.5m) long which is more than enough for cleaning around the house in emergencies. For thorough cleaning, use your main, full size, vacuum cleaner.
 Bissell Pet Hair Eraser 33A1 comes with transparent dirt bin and washable HEPA filter. Over time filters get dirty and clogged, so not even cleaning can help – replace your HEPA filter when you notice that your vacuum cleaner doesn’t do it’s job properly. They are not cheap (compared with non-HEPA filters), but they are of great help in filtering air that we breathe. When vacuum loses the suction, replacing the filter is the only option. OEM filters are highly recommended – when changing the filter, be sure that it is positioned and aligned properly. Note: clean HEPA filters only according to the directions. |
It is recommended to clean the dirt bin after each cleaning to ensure maximum suction performance – this is not necessary if you clean small areas from time to time (like, chair, sofa, few stairs and similar small areas).
One of it’s features is interchangeable flexible rubber contour nozzle and hard nozzle. Use rubber contour nozzle for cleaning pet hair from your carpets, upholstery, stairs, furniture etc – it cleans just as good as rubber motorized brushes from much more expensive vacuum cleaners without getting clogged. Hard nozzle should be used for dry and similar dirt.

If you need second vacuum cleaner for quick cleaning of small areas and you have pets (dogs, cats etc), this vacuum cleaner might be just for you. It is not suitable for cleaning larger areas like canister or upright vacuum cleaners, but due to it’s price, this is great vacuum cleaner to have around. Also, it is little bit loud, in regard to it’s size, but strength from small package comes with the price – and no, it is not some horrible noise like jet plane landing and taking off, it is just little bit noisier when compared with similar handheld vacuum cleaners (which are probably also weaker when compared with this vacuum cleaner).
Even if you don’t have pets but you need some small vacuum cleaner for quick cleans, Bissell Pet Hair Eraser 33A1 is good choice.
